Cautionary Tales for Children

University Big Book Brief. The Big Book project, consists of re-illustrating Hilaire Belloc's 'Cautionary Tales for Children'. Within a group of 6 we created a book based on the theme of a case file. We decided that it would be an adult style of morbid humour to create police reports on children whose crimes went from petty to substantial. We divided up the poems and illustrated our own pages, yet having constant meetings to make sure our poems work together cohesively, though the style of illustration differed, it was treated as a police officer having different handwriting, meaning every case was different.
